Magnesium for Constipation??

Does anyone know if this is safe to take while pregnant? Its been two days, my stomach is hard & I'm getting uncomfortable. It's always pebble like when I do go-my nausea medication is mostly to blame. I drink tons of water & have tried so many different foods to help just not getting enough results! I have a magnesium drink its a powder mix from natural vitally that worked wonders in the past but I haven't used since being pregnant. Currently 13 wks & 3 days. Doesn't say anything on it about consulting a doctor & the ingredients listed is just magnesium & lemon flavoring. Thanks for your advice girls!!

My Dr told me to take it. I made the mistake of taking too much (like over half the bottle) because it tastes like popsicles. It was a LONG 2 days.

I take a few gulps of liquid magnesium citrate when I get backed up. I usually take some in the morning then the evening and it breaks everything up the next day or so. It's important to also drink a lot of water at the same time so you don't get dehydrated.
