membrane sweep
Anyone ever had this done and it worked? I just had one done and was told of baby doesn't come soon I'll be induced on friday. I so don't want to be induced. Btw it was very uncomfortable and painful.
A membrane sweep is a kind of induction, where your doctor separates the membranes of the amniotic sac surrounding your baby from your cervix.
I never heard of it either until this app. Then my doc told me today what she was going to do and I agreed. Must say I am havin contractions now so I guess its sort of working. Also it pains alot to walk.

It works if your body is prepared for labor, I had one done my first pregnancy, and the next morning I was in labor.
What exactly is a membrane sweep? I've never heard of it until this app either. It sounds like it would hurt. Just the word membrane gives me shivers lol
I'm 8 days past due date i had a membrane sweep yesterday but it didn't work for me .i will be induced this week i dont know when yet ..but goodluck for u .
I am 3 days past my due date. Was due on 4th july.
I've seen several post where it work for other women... I've nevrr even heard of this till this app... I'm very curious about it... how far along are you?
