I love it!! :) breastfeed all four of mine and plan the same with this one, it has soooooo many benefits for both baby and mother :) but it really is a personal choice! Do you know all the pro's n con's?
Honestly I loved it and just finished nursing my daughter a couple weeks ago. She just turned 18 months this week. But yes its a personal thing. I think it really helps to have a support person you can talk to in person because it can be very difficult at first. But keep in mind it's very natural and very healthy for you and baby :-) and it keeps them protected from sicknesses. My daughter has had 1 cold and I believe it's from nursing her so long.
It really is a personal choice esp this day in age. For me I love it. My first 3 were all nursed for year each and plan on doing the same with this one.
With my first child I was young (19), so I only lasted a month. Had the wrong attitude and was embarrassed. But when on to breast feed my other 4 for a year and was the best decision I felt I could make! Also, if you do decided to give in and formula feed, don't beat yourself up! Make sure you have a great support system, get as much info as possible and practice does make perfect. I also pumped so husband could feed when I needed a break. Hope I helped and if you have any questions, I'll try my best to help!
I believe it is a very personal decision that each mother should balance their feelings along with research. I breastfed my 1st & plan to breastfeed my 2nd. My sis could not breastfeed either of her 2 bcuz she & baby kept getting infections. I don't judge one way or the other.
