Membrane Sweep
I just had my 39 week midwife appointment and so far nothing exciting is happening, no dilating or anything. For my next appointment they are going to do a membrane sweep to see if that will start anything. I know everyone experience is different but I was wondering what we're some of everyones else experiences? I've never had never had it done before so I'm just curious.
I was 1,5 cm and had a sweep done today at 38 weeks because of high blood pressure. I have an induction planned for Monday. The sweep was uncomfortable but not painful for me. So far no contraction.
I might be incorrect on this but k heard if you're not dilated at all, then they arnt able to do a membrane sweep
