Measuring Larger than what I am Supposed to be

Has anyone come across this issue I am 17 weeks 1 day and I am pretty big already, I went to the dr today and he is sending me for an ultrasound because my belly is measuring a lot bigger. I am positive of my dates, but I am worried that there can be a bigger issue. This is my 2nd pregnancy with 1 baby my first one was with twins.

I measured on time up until today I'm 30 weeks and measuring 33 weeks my doc said she's not to concerned yet but when I go back in 2 weeks if I'm still measuring ahead she'll order an ultrasound.. She said either he's a big baby or I could have extra fluid.. She even said maybe it was the position he was in today..

I just had the same thing happen i was measuring 5 weeks ahead so at 30 weeks went for a ultrasound and he was supposed to be around 3.5 pounds for gestational age but was 5 ..  went to the dr today at 32 weeks he slowed down and now im only measuring 34 weeks. (2weeks) ahead. Just have to go back at 36 weeks to see how much he weighs.  Im sure you just have a bigger baby at the moment. I noticed its more common then i thought .
