Milk and Soy allergy in infant... Tips pls!!!!

Just left the Gastroenterologist. My son has a milk and soy allergy. He's 5 wks old and I'm breastfeeding so now have to stick to a strict Dairy and soy free diet. Are there any websites out there that provide a list if do's and don't's?? And do you mommies who've had to do this yourselves have any pointers?? Thanks so much for reading. Any tips are appreciated!! X

Anything that is labeled kosher parve is dairy free
Soy is in places you really do not expect

I just read you're breastfeeding (sorry I misread earlier) you could do almond milk for yourself just make sure you very vigilantly read labels for soy products. I used to know a website that would tell you all the other ingredients that are actually milk/ soy derived. If I can find it I'll message it to you.

I'm not sure on the soy but I'm lactose intolerant so no dairy and I know lactaid is a great brand for almost any diary product replacement... The milk actually has more calcium than traditional milk and it tastes pretty much the same... Good luck my dear

Children under 2 shouldn't have nuts of any kind so almond milk is not a good idea. Some people even wait til 3 if there's history of other allergies

It is hard bc so much stuff has soy, my daughter had that but outgrew around age 5 .if there is an app that would be great otherwise almost no processed or canned foods are good. U have to get a lot of fresh foods. Good luck!!

You can prob download an app that will let you type in specific food intolerances and it will tell you if certain brands have soy or milk.  I know that there is a few of those. :)
