What was this?

I feel like a FTM even though I am not. I just never experienced labor. No BH, no contractions, or nothing. Only thing I experienced was losing my mucous plug about a week prior to my c section. I feel like an idiot having to ask all of these questions and sit here wondering ok what's going on? When Im not a ftm. lol

2 nights ago my husband and I had sex. Nothing really out of the ordinary, other than we really dont do it as often anymore. Im usually too tired for it or uncomfortable. lol Anyhow we went to sleep and I woke up with the most HORRID pains Ive ever felt. They hurt so bad I was crying through them. It would start with this sharp pressure and pain in my left hip. Then Id get this huge cramp all across my lower stomach and then it would go to my back. I never got out a timer or anything, honestly while they were happening it hurt too much to move at all. Moving made it worse. So I just laid on my left side through them. They came and went on for a good 2.5 hours.

They finally quit around 230am. I was miserable! If it wouldnt have finally let up and stopped I think Id have gone into the ER. What was I going through? Everyone always says oh you'll know, you'll know. No I feel like I wont! I dont know what period cramps feel like, I never got those so I have nothing to really compare what a contraction is supposed to feel like. All I know is this was different than the other times I felt tightening/cramping and much more unbearable. Were those real contractions and it just stopped??

I didnt think BH hurt that bad. If I moved positions or so much as tried to sit up the pain got intensely worse. They were coming Id guess every 10-15mins or so. I didnt specifically time them just my best guess. But finally stopped after about 2.5hrs of sitting there suffering. If thats just the fake stuff then omg Im terrified of whats supposed to be real contractions. These hurt like nothing else Ive ever had.

I doubt it was orgasm that caused it as I did not reach one when we had sex. lol But he did finish in there so maybe that had something to do with it. Who knows. He's now scared to have anymore sex even though I was in pain, if it means helping me along to have this baby without a c section then I want to! lol smh

I'm on my 4th and this pregnancy is completely different from my others I too feel like a ftm when I have certain questions but hun ask away because every pregnancy is different. It sounds like its braxton hicks (also my first time experiencing them) or gas pains which do hurt sometimes.

This happened to me after sex the other night. It was our first time in a month... After it stopped I realized she moved to the other side of my stomach. I guess she was just mad from all the commotion. I'm only 36weeks and i havent had any symptoms of labor, so far. That made me nauseous though.

I'm only 14 weeks but had the same thing happen to me. My doctor said that sometimes when pregnant women have an orgasm it can cause severe cramping. However I haven't had the pain since thank god. You could always call your doctor though. Best of luck

They sound like braxton hicks contractions, I am 36+2 with my 3rd and the other two were vaginal deliveries. In my first the bh wernt painful, I wrnt over due and yook castor oil and the contractions were completely different. My second my water broke. In my second one the bh wete excruciating,  I couldn't walk sit stand lay I was nauseated,  ot sucked bit they wernt regular.  The teason it happens more after sex is yhe sperm has a protein called prostagladin which softens the cervix and can trigger contractions. Try drinking water if they dont go away try to time them.

Everyone tells me the same thing.  When it happens you'll know. Yeah right! This is my 3rd and my other two were also c-section.  So I've never experienced labor either. But I swear the same thing happens to me. Mine happens even without sex and I'm just rudely awakened by this horrible pain. I'm sure they are contractions but I couldn't tell you if they are fake or real. I'm still working at 36 weeks and my doctor said if I have 5 contractions that stop me in my tracks (where in can feel them in my hips or back) to go to l&d
