Prayers for you. I pray it all comes back fine.
Called and found out baby's NT scan was 7mm.. Devastated all over again. From what I've been reading everyone who ended up with their baby being okay had a NT scan much smaller. With my baby the chances are very slim.
Yea, you should definetly find out. The docs usually say by 16-18 week, the NT can go down. Which it did for my case, so hope same happens with your baby. Thanks for the well wishes
Yes, I actually went through this. I had my first ultrasound 11weeks 5 days and doc told me baby had NT of 3.0mm which is the borderline for normal and told us our baby could have Down syndrome. So then, we had blood tests done and it all came back negative. Also, had the echo cardio to check baby's heart and doc said baby looks good. The genetic counselor kept on asking us if we wanted to do the CVS and the amnio done. But we refused it, since we had the 16 week ultrasound and baby had NT of 2.6 mm, which is normal. I am praying baby come out healthy. I am due Sept 1,2017. Wish you all the best!
My Little sister had this and she turned out to not have downs. She's 11 and a firecracker. Remember, these are just markers for downs, not 100% accurate. Good luck momma!
With my first I had the scan/bloods done at 12 weeks. His nuchal fold was bigger than they like to see but still within the range. So that combined with my bloods gave us a 1 in 21 chance of ds. Went on to have the Harmony test and all came back low risk. My son is now 2 and absolutely perfect. His neck was thick when he was born but he has the same body as his Dad (stocky). Thinking of you.
