Im trying to be cheap. I only have like 2 to 3 thousand to spend on a cheap and cheerful van, suvish sorta thing!
I was trying to avoid soccer mom style lol but after trekking to various dealerships today not finding what I need I just dont care now lol
Also need something comfy to while pregnant because I am only getting bigger! Also something safe!
Barely a pregnancy question I know but you ladies never let me down!

I have two kids with one on the way. I wanted a Dodge Durango bc I like the way they handle... and I hate the idea of a minivan.

Buuuuuttttt, when I got a great deal that fell into my lap for a nice Dodge Grand Caravan for only $1200, (nothing wrong with it, I've had it for a year now, lol)... I  took it and just pretend that I'm driving a Cadillac Escalade...

The plus side of the minivan, it's really nice with the automatic sliding doors when your hands are full with baby, with plenty of room to maneuver that wiggly butt into their seat, lmao... Down side, it's a minivan.. =/

I'm prego with number 3 and I just went from a truck to a car Cadillac sts  I was worried about that decision but its more affordable... Kids father has a Tahoe anyway...I would hold off til March or April when things aren't so expensive cause of tax time

I'm pregnant with number three. The Tahoe is best for us. It seats a total of 9.  It's rated 9 out of 10 stars.

I just bought a used Saturn Outlook.  It's basically the same as the Chevy Traverse or GMC Acadia without the price tag.  Check on Autotrader.com for various vehicles.

I have a 06 trailblazer and LOVE IT!!! I have a five year old in a booster seat and a new baby coming in five days lol.. the car seat fits great and he has plenty of room and it has a huge back space, for a stroller, groceries, etc! Only bad thingits not all that great on gas... Not horrible but not great like 15-17 mpg city and 19-21 highway

The Nissan murano can hold 3 car seats in back. The guy that sold me mine almost bought it for his family cuz they had 3 in booster seats and they fit great. Plus it's super comfy to drive is roomy gets decent gas mileage and had lots of space in the back for hauling things. You might be able to find a older one for cheaper. But yes check private party if you feel safe doing that. Normally you can ask to take it to a mechanic and have it checked over.

I have a Nissan Rogue but I'm only on child number two. Honestly, mini vans are awesome :) I know they aren't cool but they are so comfy and luxurious inside and drive great. Except in snow. I used to have a Plymouth Grand Voyager and I loved that thing! It had so much room and was just a pleasure to drive and very kid friendly. Mine was older. The ones they make nowadays are alot nicer looking

We have a Tahoe, an f250, and a Mercedes wagon. I only have two (well, one and one almost here) but the Tahoe is best suited for 3 or more kids. Within your price range though? Idk.

I drive  a expedition and I also have a excursion. they are cheap with allot of extras! I did my research for a year before deciding. suburbans are very nice as well but I didn't want to pay that much. the excursion is a gas hog but I don't pay payments on it so it works for us. I'm a mom of 5 with # 6 on the way. Hope you find something great! I'll pray! :)

I drive a Ford F150 extended cab. It's got a full back seat so three kids fit in comfortably and we have the whole bed for hauling anything we need. We're pregnant with baby four now but I'm not worried. The front is a bench seat with three seatbelts and our oldest is 13 so plenty big enough to sit up front safely.  It was $12k from a dealership we trust but our payments are only $195 a month so still affordable, we put 3k as a down payment.

Do u want to go through dealerships or are you ok with private sales? Maybe look on Craig's list? That's were my husband got his truck with backseat (2003 ford f150 for $3k) I was nervous but the kid jus had so many bills he just had to get it sold.

I'm preg  with #2 (I know u said 3) I have an explorer, I think 3 would fit. My friends of 3 drive vans, one is against vans and drives subburben. When mine get older I'll pry look into something with more room for friends and sports/activities.

Btw the Routan is nice and comfy...ours just keeps having issues and is a magnet for rocks on the highway it seems...I drive the highway like never but am on my third chipped windshield in a year.  Plus dead battery that is very expensive to replace ($300!).  And we had a tire get a hole in the side wall so it couldnt be patched...

I have a VW Routan.  That car has been cursed for me so I would not recommend that.  The Honda Odyssey is well rated and last the best so if you can find one used in your price range I would highly recommend that...we could get the Routan cheaper so we went for that one and now regret it.  We rent different vans whenever we have to rest to test drive them.  I would say the Nissan Quest has the least room in the back seat...but I am 5'11" so some might not care; but my husband liked how it drove.  And the Chevy Town & Country is fine but prolly my least favorite, I found the back seats very uncomfortable, my husband was indifferent about how it drove but felt more like he was driving a van than with the others for some reason.
