To everyone who answered...

For all of the moms who answered my C-section question I thank you very much. I know it is surgery and figured it can only be one, maybe two, in the room with me. If I do have to have a C-section, I know the only thing I can do is ask- you never know unless you ask. I would love to have my husband, my mom, and my mother-in-law with me while I deliver the baby
I wish you all the best and good luck with your pregnancy and especially delivery!

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I didn't know I was going to be open like that with a C-section?! I thought they covered everything except for your stomach, then again, they do make the incision pretty low huh? My mother-in-law is really pushing for me to have one because she doesn't want all of the stress on me during labor (I have a heart condition). I know she would understand if she couldn't be in there, I just really want her to because we are close and this will be their first grandchild. But if she is not allowed in then I will definitely ask about her being in the recovery room!
Again, thank you so much and take care.

I know what you mean about wanting to share the special moment and be fair. My mother-in-law was never interested, she even want to work and didn't meet my first til after. But I felt bad my dad and mom could be there as with both my previous babies he skipped work and was there when I had to be there and waited til he was allowed with me and baby and wouldn't let go of baby until my husband or I said "diaper change time!" Lol. But in the end everyone will just be happy to have your little one in their lives!!! And if they don't let everyone you want in ask if they can be in the recovery room. They will only have to wait a few extra moments to meet your baby as your baby won't been in the surgery room long.
Just one more note. The screen the use isn't that big. At least at the two hospitals and two different states I had mine weren't. If I looked up at the light fixture I could see everything through the reflection and my mom and husband had to go out of their way to not see anything. So if they have issues if they catch a glimpse they may not want to go in (with the exception of your spouse, he doesn't get a choice lol). Also I am pretty sure I was pretty much naked on that table from the waist down, don't know for a fact as I couldn't feel it even if they laid a blanket on me with the drugs they give to numb you, but just make sure if you are exposed you are comfortable with that with the people on there :-).
