Morning sickness

I'm 9.5 weeks and I have ALL day sickness. What can I do to help? I've tried several things in the past few days. I just found out that I'm expecting. I didn't have this when I was pregnant with my son.

Honestly what works all depends on your body. I suffered from severe nausea and vomiting with my daughter and now again with this one.  My mother had three girls and one boy and was sicker with my brother.  I have literally been on every medicine you can take for nausea and at first nothing worked.  Finally as I got closer to 13 weeks zofran is now helping me to eat after two months of ice.  I would say try anything your doc will let you and hopefully something works.  Dont give up. I know it *****. Im still home with a pic line in my arm but you have to take it day by day. We are some strong ladies. You can do it.

Ive had the opposite . Really bad morning sickness with my boys.  I also was prescribed zofran . Try saltines and ginger ale. If that doesnt work talk to your doctor. Hang in there!

Ok butterball, I'm not saying it's 100 % I'm not a doctor but most of the time I'd your more sick in one pregnancy that one is most likely the girl, also zofran may help and I hope it does but from my experience and I even had a pump pumping it in my stomach it did nothing, sometimes time is all that helps, again good luck and hang in there

Thanks everyone. The smell, the thought and taste of food make me so nausea. I should be getting some zolphran tomorrow. I throw up or dry heave constantly.  I hope that I can get some relief

Ive just had my third baby 6 days ago and she was a girl - much sicker this time then with my first boys.  I had all day morning sickness until I had her. 9 months of it.
I was constantly taking Zofran - it was the only thing that helped.

First thats not true salina0408....i was sick all day everyday frim solids to liquids for the first 5 months and im having a boy. Secondly ask your doctor for zofran and although it wont make it go away it will subside it some to help you keep foods down. Also try really small meals throughout the day. Ive only gained 8 pounds my whole pregnancy and im 33 weeks but i started to have more of an appetite around week 30. Hope the zofran helps and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Well first off your most likely having a girl, I am 32 weeks with my little girl and I was way way sicker with this than with my son, my doctor told me right away I was probably having a girl because the hormones are higher and it makes some people more sick, secondly and unfortunately I don't care what anyone tells you nothing is going to take it away, yes some things may distract it a little but you just have to get through it, I was sick all day for 10 weeks it was horrible but it will pass eventually you just have to eat whatever is appetizing to you and stay away from the things that make you sick. It's tough but you will get through it
