Moving too fast??

Hello Prego's!!! I have been stressing out on getting my home together before the baby comes. I have a five  old and I own my own business. I am 26 weeks and my mother said that it is to soon for me to be setting things up....that it is bad karma. When do you think is a good time to start setting up? Am I  moving too fast?

Omg!!! So helpful!!! And made me feel so much better!!! I totally understand you!!! My husband is the same way!!! I told him he will be mad one day when he finds out that I had someone else come and do it behind his back!...

I don't believe that bad karma stuff" my mama said the same thing. But if God want us to have the baby he is going to bless us with a baby. If not then it may not be the right timing. But other wise I wouldn't worry about it. Jus like sometimes you have still birth close to due date. You just never know. But think positive. I'm starting to put the room together at 6 months. I am 24 weeks and own my own business also have a 8 and10 year olds at home.  10 year old plays travel ice hockey.   So I feel you.  Im irritated at my husband because in my baby girls room there is a giant oak queen sized bed.  I've been asking him for two months to put it in garage.   Hes like weve got plenty of time quit stressing.   I have to paint and I would like to get everything and put it away also.  Dont like this feeling of relying on somebody else wish I could just do it myself.

I don't think it's to early to start at all. Esp when you have a busy life and can only do so much at a time, starting early and doing things slowly but surely is much easier on you. I wanted everything done by 34 weeks and due to life and and not having much help I just got the murder set up at 35 weeks. You could get put on bed rest, or deliver eairler than planned etc much better to be prepared

I was like you at around 30 weeks. Im now 38wks3 and I just finished packing bags and setting everything up. Only thing we need to do now is put the carseat in the car ill probably do that this weekend.:)

Well that is great!!!! Maybe I should add that I just moved in to my new house also.
