Mucous plug...

I know this question is asked soo often but I was wondering.. does it have to be bloody? Because I just had a ton of yellow thick discharge come out of me but no blood... so is it my plug or no? 38 + 5 weeks btw.

I'm on number 4 and never had blood mix in just a lot of mucus but yet its been my plug. I asked my ob why I never had blood amd he said sometimes there is blood and sometimes not. That's why some women don't even know they pass theirs.

Yes. It is the same thing... when they refer to your bloody show often it is your mucus plug and it comes out with blood as well. But not always! First time I lost my plug it was just a big ball of mucus. Second pregnancy it was a continual ball of mucus with blood mixed in. First glob was dark red blood stained the rest has been pink. So yes that's your plug
