Mucus plug...is it possible??..

So I'M 29 wks this is baby #5 and this morning when I went to use the bathroom there was a chunk of light yellowish mucus like discharge on my liner. It's odorless and bout the size of a quarter.  My question is it too soon to be losing my mucus plug??  I know that it can take wks to lose the plug completely and that it's just a sign that my cervix is opening.  Has anyone else started losing theirs this soon?

You can loose it at any time. It just regenerates itself. In my 3rd pregnancy I started loosing it at 11 weeks. Once a week until I was induced at 39 wks

It's definitely not a discharge, I have a appt tomorrow I'll discuss with my obgyn. I know that women can start losing their plug and nothing happens for wks.

This is baby #4 for me and I don't remember ever losing mine. So I assume mine doesn't look like most womens. I only have what you are describing a yellow mucus like discharge, but I have this discharge thru put my entire pregnancies. My doctor said it's my norm.

You can lose your plug more than once during your pregnancy. Doesn't necessarily mean anything.

It's probably just discharge. Pregnancy can increase discharge at any point but it doesn't necessarily mean it's part of your mucus plug. I'm pregnant with my 3rd and about 3 weeks ago started having heavier discharges but it doesn't happen everyday and the doctor said it was normal. I'm 36wks 2days now.
