I am 6 weeks pregnant and I am having some issues with constipation,  what are some safe meds or remedies I could do at home to alleviate the pain?

Eat foods with lots of fiber.  Apples are great and very high in fiber. Just remember you have to drink lots of water when taking in extra fiber. If you don't it could back you up more. Good luck!

I have the same problem & it's miserable!! :-(  My body doesn't really respond to natural remedies like more fiber or certain foods or more water, unfortunately. But I take Miralax & it is a lifesaver!!! It's completely safe during pregnancy. It's a powder u can mix in with anything, even water & u can buy it at Walmart. TRY IT!!

Natural calm or mama calm. It's a magnesium powder and works like a dream. You can get it on Amazon, just Google it. Worth every penny.

Lots of water, lots of fiber, kale is very good for that! I take fiber gummies on a regular basis when it gets bad and that helps because it just regulates instead of something like a stool softener that could work like a laxative for me lol

Drink 8+ glasses of water every day. Ty to eat fruits every day, and salads KR raw veggies. Green apples and strawberries and canteloupe are particularly useful. Apple juice. Prune juice. Activia yogurt at least once a day if not twice! If all else fails, miralax and colace are two effective remedies on the safe list. (Pick one not both together!)
