babyshower

So my family is throwing me a baby shower. My boyfriends family isn't very close or family orientated so I told him to invite his family and we will just have one that combines everyone. I had a falling out with one of his cousins at the beginning of the year. I tried reaching out to her texted and called and put in a good effort to try to mend things and she didn't bother acknowledging me, she deleted me off Facebook etc. So I told him I don't want her invited. So now he's saying he just won't invite his family if she can't attend. I really would like his family to be there and I feel it's unfair for him to give me the ultimatum.  Anyone go threw the same situation?

I don't really want to mend things now. I tried already. I feel like I'm too old for these high school jealousy games she's playing. I try once and I'm done with it.

But I guess I'll let him invite her and I'll just secretly hope she just doesn't come  I just want his family there and if I have to suck it up I guess I have to.

I'd invite his family without him knowing. But if she deleted you on Facebook she probably won't even attend if she is invited.

I agree with tinkerbelly65 try to show him your a grown respectable woman & kill her with kindness. Inlaws can really be tough to get along with but atleast show him your trying. Hopefully she comes & yall make a mends. Its always harder being the bigger person.
