How come you just don't spell it the way you want it pronounced? I dogs that to my oldest son his name is QuaVaughn pronounced cavaughn and i constantly have to correct people... i love the name though... Iam going to name my daughter yadira...

It will become frustrating to u nd the child when people call her Jeanette. U will forever have to correct them.. but that is totally up to u , have u tried flipping the names? My poor cousin is like that. Her name is Karin pronounced as Corrine.. and people call her Karen all the time.. and she has to constantly correct them.

I like it first abd middle, except for the proununciation of Jeanette. I wouldnt say it YUHnette Id say it JUHnette. Thats confusing. I give it a 4 if pronounced that way. 8 if pronounced JUHnette.

Its a little confusing the way you want it pronounced. The two names sound like to much together. I'd rate it a 2

I don't think it's a good idea to deliberately confuse people on pronunciation of names.  Some names are a little tricky to spell or pronounce,  but you are picking a pretty standard well-recognized name and creating a completely unexpected pronunciation of it.  I think your daughter will have to go through  life continuously correcting people on how to say her name.  In any language,  the name Jeanette starts with either a hard J or soft J sound.

You can listen to it here (kind of cool link,  actually):

If you want to name her YUHnette,  how about Yanette?  or Ynette?
