FTM. I am 38 weeks + 4 days, no signs of labour n baby boy  is just chilling in my belly. Lol I Am so over betting pregnant and I just want him to come out.  What can I do to get him to come out soon

Thank you @enkfsu! I've read that some women take 2000 mg in the am and 1000 mg at night (orally) accompanied by 1000 mg inserted into the vagina.

Thank you @cristoviene. originally I had wanted to speed up labor, but after a lot of thought I've decided not to rush baby. I know he will come when he is ready. Epo is taken to ease labor, which I think every mommy-to-be would appreciate very much! Lol. Best wishes!

I haven't been taking them long, only for about 3 days...i have the 500mg and i started only taking one at night but i have read that i can take like 2, my doctor said they were safe but i really haven't noticed any change with them

8 days away & my baby boy has moved out of my pelvis & flipped into transverse position! I have until Monday for him to turn back around or I'm asking for an ECV.

@enkfsu how long have you been taking the epo?  Do you think it would make a difference if I'm due in 7 and I start taking them tonight??

I am 5 days away from my c-section and i feel the same way...i am so sick of being pregnant...lol i keep telling people i have been pregnant since last year...i had a few contractions thus morning and finally lost my mucus plug but i am still only dilated one and a half centimeter, i did go walking this afternoon, and taking epo orally

I'm 39 weeks today and I've been seeing tons of posts about evening primrose oil. It doesn't induce labor. However it makes for a smoother, easier labor when it does happen. Also, castor oil, if enough is taken can jump start labor. My mom is from Trinidad and she says it's an island MUST! The doctors over there actually encourage drinking castor oil in your last days to guarantee quick labor. I have purchased both castor oil and the primrose... I'm just terrified they may actually work! Haha.

I honestly believe baby comes when baby wants, but there's things u can do to prep ur body. Work naturally with ur body & it can stimulate things to progress. Try walking, sex, squats, birthing ball exercises. Red Leaf Raspberry tea. Im 39 weeks 2mrw and still feel like my son is in there chilling. If u wrk with ur body labor will be a little bit easier. Wish you well dear & hope that baby comes soon.

I'm in the same boat.  6 days from my due date and no signs of labour. It's just a waiting game now!  :)
