Natural or Epidural???

So I almost went into labor last Friday at 34 weeks but I stopped contracting and dialating at 5cm not I'm home on bed rest hopefully until 37 weeks they say. I'm debating on if I should get the epidural or go natural I had the epidural with my other two and my last one the epidural made me itch. So I'm thinking about going natural. What do u think????

Also remember there's a "point of no return" where its too late to get epidural or the anesthesiologists isn't available

if you want to try natural check if your hospital allows water birth...that really reduces the pressure but you can still feel it. I have random pain at the epidural injection site. still and my youngest is 6 so I am going for a natural this time. we shall see;)

It's honestly your call, I went natural with my first two and it's very hard, but very well worth it! I had an epidural with my 3rd and 4th and plan on getting one with my 5th. Try going natural and if you can bare the pain and get through it. .... Good for you. If you can't , get the epidural... birth should be an enjoyable experience.

I had epidural and don't regret it. It allowed me to relax and enjoy the delivery instead of being overwhelmed by pain. Btw I consider vaginal birth natural bc with or without meds your still pushing the baby out of your body. Good luck :)

It's well worth it in the end epidural or not. It doesn't mean you are a better person cuz you didn't have one. I tried going without but caved at 8cm cuz my contractions were so close together I hardly got a break before the next one started. After 6 hours of that I was exhausted and needed sleep before pushing.

Have an open mind.  Try going natural,  and if u can't bare it, have the epidural. If you can do it, go for it!

I am the total opposite. As long as I can get meds, I am going for the drugs!
