I know a lot of people don't want to take anything for it, but my nausea was so bad I had to get a handle on it. I asked for diclegis. It's WONDERFUL. It's used as a preventative for nausea rather than a reactor, but I didn't need it regularly. It's expensive but by far THE BEST.
Thank you for your kind words! I hope you feel better as well!
You have to learn your triggers. Mine were eggs, coffee, butter, & fruity things... I couldn't tolerate water so it was Gatorade for a while. Find what works, even if it's bland, & if you're craving a certain food & you can keep it down, keep eating it no matter if it's nutritious or not! (Mine was pizza)
Thank you so much for sharing! It does ease my mind. Glad to hear your baby is doing well! I hope you get feeling better yourself as time goes on!
I lost 28 pounds in my 1st trimester from nausea and vomiting. The only nutrition I had was being on an IV for 2 months. I could not eat or drink anything until I was 15 weeks. Like my doctor told me, babies are resilient. My daughter pulled everything from me to grow and thrive. Although I was sick, she was just fine. I'm 25 weeks and 1 day now; still on 3 prescriptions to stop the nausea and vomiting (including a Zofran pump in my stomach 24 hours a day) and my daughter is doing great! I'm telling you my story to tell you, don't worry about your baby getting nutrition because it definitely will! You just focus in feeling better for you! Good luck !
