Need some advice

does it really matter what side you sleep on? I keep reading about sleeping on your left side is best but I can't sleep unless I'm on my right, I'm more comfortable on my right side. Does it really matter ? Or should I just keep trying to sleep on my left ???

Think about it, people have been sleeping the way they want to before all of this advice started to come out and their babies are fine. If you are comfortable and they baby is fine, sleep on either side.

I start on my left every night and every time I get up to pee (3 or 4 times) I switch sides.  I basically flip like a pancake throughout the night. Doctor said it's perfectly fine.

Either side is OK, just not on your back. I'm 38 weeks and have favored my right side 90% of my pregnancy.

My dr told me to switch it up during the night and sleep on all sides. Its fine as long as I'm not in preterm labor!

I have placenta issues in my pregnancies and one of the things they say that I must do is only go on my left side. They said if I have to prop pillows in my bed so I can physically not roll any other way to do it, its that important to the placenta. A few months discomfort is nothing.

Sleep on the left side once you hit twenty weeks for sure. I don't believe in taking chances because of what feels more comfortable. Remember this all will pass. Mommies must always put love first and true love is shown in suffering

My Dr says right or left side...as long as I'm not flat on my back.

I tried very hard in the 1st and 2nd trimester to stay on my left.  Now in the 3rd I have been sleeping in all postitons but on my tummy.. no issues for me

I am 33 weeks and its impossible to sleep just on your left side. It hurts like hell after awhile. My hip and thigh go numb and hurt. I sleep on both sides awhile on my left then turn to my right. Thats what I do all night.

It does matter, the right side later in pregnancy restricts blood flow to the placenta.
