milk supply

Mothers who have breast feed before, do you get a lot of milk supply to freeze or is it hard to get any extra?

I would breastfeed then pump afterwards, and I always had enough to store in the lil freezer baggies that came with breast pads.  I never ran out of milk and defrosting the milk was easy, just let it sit in a bowl of hot water.  My baby didn't care that the milk wasn't warm.

I had too much milk the first two times... I would just dump it.. I hated freezing and unfreezing the bottles

You should be able to have extra if you start pumping as soon as your milk comes in good. Pump. Pump. Pump thats what I did and I had a ton of milked stored

I breast fed my daughter and I always had extra to put in the fridge. I just had to pump at the time she usually had to feed and I kept producing alot of milk.  Hope this helps:-)

Everyone is different. My body doesn't respond to a pump. There are ways to increase your milk supply. If you are on fb look up breast is best
