Nervous for induction

So I'm 40 weeks 1 day and have had my membranes swept twice. I had a Dr appointment this morning and I've been scheduled for induction this coming Tuesday. I'm so nervous I really didn't want to get induced. I have hope baby boy will come on his own before induction :(

I've heard nothing but horror stories about induction which is why I'm so nervous. A catheter sounds very uncomfortable I wish I could just have him without induction :(

I was induced. It's really not that bad. I mean, I have nothing to compare it to haha but it didn't take too long and my water broke on it's own so at least some things happened by itself haha I was induced April 22nd around noon and had my daughter April 23rd at 11:36pm. She was 9lbs 12oz and 21.5 in. I did have the epidural but it wore off by the time I had her so I felt everything :/ the only bad thing was the catheter. I had to beg them to take it out. It hurt more than the contractions lol
