Mild Period Like Cramps

I am 6 1/2 weeks with period like cramps off and on, no spotting/bleeding and it occurs sporaticly for a short time. I was told that this is normal as log as I am not in tremendous pain, whichI am not. Can anyone relate? Does anyone havea better explanation? I need to put my mind at ease.

I had the same at the same time as you. I was told its because of the stretching.  Im 15weeks today and everything is fine, so I wouldn't worry :-)

I have had some cramping and even what felt like a tight stretch and all is good with us.  In my 1st pregnancy I also had some bleeding that turned out to just be cells on my cervix.

Thanks! I am sure every women goes through this as it's hard to believe that you don't feel anything as your uterus is expanding. As I said, it comes and goes, it's defe light here and there with the cramping. When I walk around, it goes away.

I had cramping up until 6 weeks but no bleeding. D Doctor said it'snormal to have cramps as your uterus is a muscle aand it's growing. Also read that it is normal to have some spotting. However my doctor recommended an ultrasound to clear off possibility of ectopic. I know it's worrisome but try to relax. Lots of women experiene this. however to pit your mind at ease maybe you should see your OB.  Wish you all the best
