You are lucky. Do not wake. Babies will wake when they need something. Don't worry

Yes it's okay my daughter slept like that as while right away, and she was breastfed and on formula. Just like our bodies; their bodies tell them when they are hungry, sleepy, or wet. If it were a problem your little one would cry trust me. Just be lucky you are one of the few moms that get to rest at night. Good luck!

I agree dont wake them up. If my newborn slept 8 hrs then I'd prolly wake them up after 4 hrs for a.fed but 5 hrs straight why bother them.

No you should not be worried at all!! I breastfed my daughter and she slept almost all the way through the night, id say she went to sleep at about 12 and didn't wake up up till about 6! Consider yout self blessed, you definitely DO NOT have to wake them up every few hours, they will let you know when they want to eat

Had my baby 3 days ago and she sleeps well at nights too. There is no need to wake baby up. They'll wake when they are hungry or need to be changed. I used to wake my 1st cause I taught she would be hungry and my doctor said don't do it.

I disagree ax was breasrfeeding and my first sleep 5_6 hours straight them woke up ate and went back to sleep for several more hours. He ate like crazy during the day ab 3_4oz every 1:30 hrs. Both my family doctor at the time who also breastfed and my doctor thru pregnancy who is now both our doctor said let them sleep no reason to wake them some babies just sleep better than others early on. And your v feeding formula that satifies them even longer so I would not worry or wake baby.

You shouldn't let them sleep that long at that age. You should really be waking them every few hours during the night to feed. If they fall asleep while feeding click the bottom of the feet or put an ice cube in a paper towel and run it under their chin. They shouldn't be sleeping that much until about a month old.

My oldest slept through the night from day one, and my youngest slept about that long in the beginning while breastfeeding but it didn't last very long.

My daughter did that.  She's on formula. They sleep a lot. She always woke up when she was hungry.  I didn't wake her up because when i did,  she wouldn't eat and would fall asleep while holding her...so there was no point. At 3 months, now she sleeps for 8 hours straight at night

If your feeding them formula its possible, but u should wake them earlier to feed because their stomach is still tiny
