Night Pains

Hello ladies, I'm 25 years  old, a first time mom, and my little miracle is 16 weeks, 1day, due September 26th. I've been having pains every night while trying to go to sleep this past week in my lower back and sides, near where my kidneys are. I have experienced constapation/morning sickness through out my pregnancy so I try to drink only water, sometimes apple juice, and avoid certain foods or eating late. I was up late last night and these pains worry me, not knowing if this is normal. I have a Doctors appt next week, but need some advice on what to do until  then.  Are these strange symptoms or has anyone else experianced this? Could it be due to my age? I'm the only women in my family whose waited to have children so my symptons are different then theirs have been.

Its most likely ligament pains or your hips beginning to separate. You can try stool softener. Thats what my doctor recommended, that and hot baths,  your man rubbing your back and a belly band

Morning sickness and constipation are a common symptom during pregnancy. General aches and pains are as well however if it does become unbearable then I'd mention it to your midwife. It can be growing and stretching pains which I had with mine. Everyone is completely different with pregnancy and the body goes through a huge change.
Hot baths and wheat bags are good to easy the pain. Good luck :-)

quite often its normal to have pains, your body is changing fast. take some Tylenol and use a warm bath to help relax. make sure to ask your doctor about them and if they get to be to much go to the er. take care hun.
