No Prenatal Vitamins

Hi ladies!!

I'm new here! I am 25 weeks preggo with baby number 2 (it's a girl..again!), and this pregnancy I have not been able to tolerate prenatal vitamins...not even gummies!

Any natural suggestions or things you've tried that have helped support your immune system? My doc has recommended just maintaining a healthy diet.

Thanks

Juicing fruits and veggies is a great way to get all your vitamins

If you can't tolerate a prenatal,  try at least taking folic acid and vitamin b12 alone.  These are probably the most important vitamins in a prenatal,  as they are super important for baby's brain development.  Insufficiencies can cause major birth defects.

I take iron pills alone because I'm anaemic & they have never made me sick . You need iron, try Flintstones vitamins ! They work just as Well ....

With the vitamins always go with the docs words. They can test ur blood and see if u have sufficient vitamins in your body to go without any supplement. Others experience won't help in case of Supplements during pregnancy for sure as every women is different and even pregnancy is.

Im 27 weeks and i just started taking my prenatals cuz i was super sick at the beginning. Some women dont take prenatals at all. Its just your prefference. And i just found out im super anemic since i stopped eating meat during the whole vomiting spree my body was on. After two weeks of iron suplements my iron levels are back to normal. Just keep eating a balanced diet. And you should be fine,
