Not a question just scared!
Went to all my doctor appointments today and last on the list was the general surgeon to consult about my growing hernia on the front of my stomach from a previous surgery. The doctor looked at me and went to the hall and started scheduling surgery! I'm 26 weeks and they want to fix the hernia! I tried to see if they could wait until my baby is a little more developed but he said every day is a risk for both of us with my intestines poking in the pocket of my abdominal wall. Still! Yikes! So Thursday I'm headed in for surgery. I hate surgery. Ugh.

Good luck! I didn't have a hernia but I had surgery on my abdomen at 21wks. I was terrified and cried the whole time leading up to it, but really I had nothing to worry about. Everything went great, they kept checking baby the whole time with the fetal doppler, and did an ultrasound a couple of weeks after. Now almost 32wks and baby is fine. I hope all goes well for you too!
