Be prepared for a fast or slow labor. It could go either way. Was induced with my 2nd baby at 10 pm on a wednesday night. Started with pitocin in my IV but wasnt dilating. Thursday morning i was givin cytote. A pill inserted into vagina to open cervix. It failed for me. Thursday night was given something called a foley bulb catheter. Its a tool inserted into cervix. It expands like a balloon and falls out once u reach 4 cm. It worked and I gave birth friday night at 12 pm. Long labor for me but worth it. Good luck

I got induced at 6 am some doctors do it at night .Should not take long to get checked in . they take you straight to the room you get the hospital stuff on they start the iv and hopefully things work well and baby comes with in the day . I was in labor for 8-10 hours from getting the iv til baby was in my arms . good luck you will do fine
