Not enough nutrients through placenta

Could it be because I swallowed gum? Or is it because I dont eat enough throughout the da? Worried mommy to be.

I can feel myself not eating like I should. I just dont know what to do Im not hungry much but I dont want to force it. My doc said to just eat right / take me prenatals & he will see me next week. Apparently he doesnt pay close attention to other patients as he does me.

"Wrong with it" was in reference to your plecenta, not your baby.

Swallowing gum has no affect on anything.. ever. You digest gum the same way you digest any other food you swallow. The myth that gum either doesn't digest or that it stays in your system for several years was probably created to keep children from swallowing it once they had it in their mouths. If your baby is not getting enough nourishment then it's likely that something is wrong with it or you aren't eating enough of the right kinds of foods. Or it could be neither of those things and you'd probably be best asking your doctor as he would know exactly why.
