OMG! Dog Pee!!!

Its about 8:45pm and my husband, toddler and I were just watching tv in bed when our little dog just jumped up and pissed all over the bed and the carpet! He has been so jealous since our son was born and is getting even worse now that I'm pregnant again. I've never known a dog to carry on like this! smh

I don't know where you are - I'm based in England but there's one product I swear by for getting human (potty training was fun lol) and animal urine and faeces stains and smells out of carpets and bedding etc is bi-carb (baking) soda. Sprinkle a generous amount on the carpet leave for 10mins then vacuum. Dab some dettol (an antiseptic) diluted water over it again sprinkle the bi-carb over it - leave for a further 10 mins and again vacuum. Job done stain and smell free :-) as for pillows and bedding soak them in a warm bath of water adding a fair amount of bi-carb to the mix - about half hour works well then squeeze out the water and put into the wash and use your liquids/powders as you normally would. Doesn't matter if you tumble dry or air dry the result will be the same. Stain and smell free clean bedding. Best of luck. X

OK ladies your dog is staking there claim it will pass.. Its part of a attention graber to my dog did it when my sister was pregnant and went into her room only... I used a brissel product I get from pet smart it takes out the smell.. Best thing to do is rub the nose in it and say no and ignore them for it for a few no eye contact...my dog would rat on her self with the puppy face if they are getting less attention or spoiled they will act out until they are back on schedule.. So pretty much like a kid... All my dog wants to do is protect my tummy and snuggle no ping in my room or any where else they just love being babyed.. But ping is showing that they are trying to be domanait and stake claim hopes this help.. For the brissel product I get it at pet smart if it doesn't work you have a 60 day garteen

My black pug is 15 months and he is potty trained but some days he is rotten and has accidents. . Like today.  He peed on the couch pillow!  Makes Me mad. . Good thing I can wash the pillow.  If he ever peed on our bed I'd lose my mind.

Jamie2464 is your dog spayed/ neutered? Sometimes that helps with marking their territory.

I'm in the same position jamie2464! I'm over it and think we need to find him a new childfree home but husband doesn't want to. I put him in the laundry when he gets to much but that's no way for a little dog to live his life :(

Its so gross. It went through everything right to the mattress. I'm going to have to get the quilt drycleaned. I just don't get it because he's been toilet trained for like 4yrs! When I was pregnant with my first he used to follow me everywhere and try to sit on my belly like he was trying to hatch an egg or something, lol. But this pregnany, its like he's having a nervous breakdown and can't cope with the idea of another baby.

Mine has been attached to me at the hip lately. And last week he peed on my couch! I can't get the smell out either. It's awful cuz I'm a total neat/clean freak and I can't stand the smell. I tried the pet urine enzyme cleaner and it ended up staining my couch and only made the smell a little better. :(
