Is this normal

This is my first child. I am 13 weeks and only found out a month ago I was pregnant. I am scared, stressed and depressed. Everyone around me is so happy for me. I can not get excited. I am always vomiting and I have the worst pains like I am cramping. I feel horrible that I am not as excited. Is this normal or do I need to talk with a therapist?

Normal! I felt really uncomfortable with the thought of being pregnant when I found out also. I was terrified. My husband and I have been together for almost 10 years so naturally everyone was over the moon. I felt guilty but at the same time was just sooooo overwhelmed with the first thought, like I fish out of water. I wasn't even getting sick. I felt great (not even pregnant)
I'm now 23weeks along with my daughter, and can't believe I ever felt that way because my heart has been ever changed.. I love her more and more each day
Don't beat yourself up about not being "excited" its a HUGE adjustment, and for some people, like me,mentally challenging at first. Your yucky tummy won't last forever. Best of luck to you

totally normal - if you are vomiting everyday or more ask your doctor about an anti-nausea drug like zofran. it is safe and can help you feel a lot better.

if you weren't scared or stressed, that would be abnormal!

Normal! I think u will be fine the bad stuff will pass and then u will have back pains and all other things happen but it will be all ok when ur baby is in ur arms and ur back to normal!  Take deep breaths the beginning is the hardest! I'm 32.4wks now with my second and final baby! The beginning was the worst for me both times!
