am so worried plz help

Hi all
Am 18 weeks pregnant
Just did my third ultrasound today. .
Everything went good and am having a baby girl but they said that the baby's weight dropped from the 20th percentile last time to be on the 7th percentile now ..all the measurments were fine though and the baby is moving all over the place
But ..the girl who did the ultrasound said that she saw the bowels r brighter than usual and there is a spot in the heart she doesn't have any idea about ..
I'm going to do a genetic consult soon but am so worried ...
I did my down syndrome screeing and it was negative ..
Anyone of u experienced something like this before? ??
Am really so afraid

Wishing you the best, Sarsoora. I had my anatomy scan yday and the technician noticed a tiny cyst kn my baby's brain. :( Dr says it's common and observing it is the most that can be done now. I have a level 2 ultrasound in 3wks. I'm a total worry ward right now. Praying for the best.

When I had my lil girl I was told that she had a spot on her heart and that it was a calcium deposit. I got so scared cuz that's a soft marker for downs so I cried. After searching the net come to find out it was common in alot of baby girls. My baby came out completely healthy. Ultrasounds can be unpredictable at times just wait for your next one cuz things can and do change. The person who took it shouldn't of told you anything with out explaining. Next time speak with your Dr for peace of mind

I don't know of I would worry too much right now. Let them do another scan because ultrasounds can be off especially when the same person doesn't do it. Keep us updated because it could be they may have gotten the dates wrong.
