Doesn't really sound like any kind of contraction. It's probably pressure from baby on your pelvic area.. I've had that same pain for weeks now, I'm 35 + 1 weeks but also with twins. Could also be a ligament pain... Your uterus is working super hard right now holding that baby. But any concerns that you have discuss with your doctor. It's better to be safe then sorry!
Same here. Second baby. I'm not a big girl but my baby is just that .. all baby ! That ligament pain ***** & makes it hard to move. Lower abdomen pain hangs with that territory too. Cramps. Tight. Uncomfortable. Take a hot shower. As hot as you can stand on your back & it sounds ***** but stretching while your in there can help. Have someone come with if you're afraid of losing balance. Lay on your side with a good comfy body pillow & drink water. This is all advice from my elders & sister who just had her fifth .. when in doubt certainly call the hospital & talk to an ob nurse. It can never hurt to talk to someone who does it every day .. good luck !
Thank you ladies for the responses. I only have this tightness pain in my tummy during my sleep. When I'm not in bed - I don't get this weird uncomfortable feeling.
My dr. said not to take hot bath - it's dangerous.
Do you sleep on one specific side if your body? I know when I'm asleep and I have been sleeping for a while on one side of my body and i try to move or get up it kinda hurts or feels tight, just an uncomfortable feeling. Try sleeping with lots of pillows, I sleep with four, and i have a big body pillow next to me and i use my husband as a pillow too lol. Try different sleeping positions or change positions frequently at night.
OMG am also 34 weeks and expecting twins!! I do get lots of pain 2 but no contraction!!
