Pain under baby bump

I'm 20 weeks along and have gained about 13 pounds. I'm quite small in size...about 5'3" and weighed about 94 pounds before pregnancy. I feel like all the weight I have gained is out front in the baby bump. Over the past couple days, I have had severe pain right under my baby bump. I have been trying to rest today. Any suggestions on what this pain might be, or on what I could try. Do you think a maternity support belt would help?

I find myself thirsty all the time too. I will try to drink more fluids and do the stretching exercises. Thank you so much!

I had the similar thing in the past couple of days... it happens on my right and on my left side, not the exact same pain, but weirdly i find myself thirsty  and after i drink water the pain kind of goes aways.. Also resting with my feet elevated helps as well...

I just started getting those pains too.  I'm 26 weeks and as of last week had gained 15 lbs at my appointment.  I haven't weighed myself this week... But I've been wondering about the belt as well.  I know what helps me is getting on my hands and knees on my yoga mat.  You can also have your husband apply pressure to the sides of your hips and push up while you're in that position.  It helps a little.  You can also sit on a birth ball and do mini hip circles.  Or sit on the floor and stretch your
Sides out. like left arm up in the air, head turned up towards hand to open up your rib cage.  The more stretchy I feel the less pain I feel.

I wear yoga pants or maternity jeans with the stretchy support and a tank top under my clothes to help support my belly, but I bet the belt would do wonders.  They sell then at Motherhood... I meant to ask about them last time I was there but I forgot.
