Do you have low blood pressure? Most people go the opposite way while pregnant, but my sil is always low.
I passed out shortly after my first appt because they drew blood. I had a history of fainting as a cold especially during blood draws. Got admitted to the e.r. and just had to drink a lot of fluids. I'm not anemic or anything. Do you know the cause of your fainting spells? Are you trying to figure it out?
I keep crackers or granola bars with me at all times. Both with my son and this baby (boy) I get weak and light headed very easy
This happend to me recently.. got a fright becos i was drivin at the time nd jst abou managing to pull over before passin out... i went to the doc to gt checked nd blood pressure nd everytin was fine... he said it was the way the bby was lyin cn cut off circulation on a vien that runs up the spine bringing blood frm the lower body to the head.. cos it cuts iff circulation cn cause faintin... he had a name fr it bt i cnt remember what??
It's from your blood pressure getting too low...that's what has been occurring with me.
I hope it gets better...best wishes and congrats on baby.
Ive gotten light headed, sweaty and just about saw starts while standing in line at walmart....fist thing i did was grab a pop and chugged it (water didnt help me). My blood sugars were low and making me feel that way. Try to keep a samll bottle of sprite or juice box in your purse if you find it happening all the time and definitely let your doc know!
Well it mostly happens when I get very hot. Like I want to start ripping my clothes off its like hot flashes. But I eat very healthy and drink water all day long. And I've never had a problem with low blood pressure before. My doctor told me to drink caffeine but that doesn't help.

I had this problem at the beginning of my pregnsncy. Turns out I had low. Look pressure.
I had this problem and was told it was my blood sugar. My blood pressure was always perfect. And I ate healthy foods and drank lots of water. I would get really hot and sweaty, then dizzy, then I couldn't communicate or would get snippy and then kind of black out. I also threw up a couple of times right before passing out. Funny thing was that it would usually happen while I was eating. I ate pretty healthy but if I splurged on something high in sugar like cake or something, that would spike my blood sugar. If I went too long without eating and then ate, that would spike my blood sugar even if it was a good meal. And if I didn't up my calories enough and did too much activity that would drop my sugar. Either way I'd pass out. I also had a lot of nausea so I wasn't keeping everything down. It was hard to keep myself level. So I have been snacking all day instead of just meals and I'm careful about not eating something really sweet. I can sip on a coke while I eat, but I don't have desserts or just drink soda. And I don't push myself too hard at once. Take frequent breaks in activity, but don't sit all day either. That's all helped me.
