Paternity test ??

So not that me and my boyfriend and go around n f... everyone but we were split up when I got pregnant... I know for a fact that its his but he would like a paternity test done for peace in mind... Anyone know if insurance covers the tests?? If not how much do u gotta pay?? What kinda paper work do you gotta get done n everything??

Rmfogel is correct the state pay for then in Wisconsin I live there. N I've heard ppl buying them over the counter n working as well. I don't know the accuracy rate. I would just do what I have to do. Call ur child support agency they would b able to give u more accurate info. That's who does the testing

Check with ur state, most states will do a paternity test free of charge if  you are not married to tge the father, my sister had it in Milwaukee,  and friends had it in chicago

I have used the test from walgreens... its easy. Just follow the directions and send it off with a money order... I think it only cost like 175 bucks if I remember correctly... as with any test you will have to wait a little while. I think I got mine back in 6 weeks. I do know that most insurances don't cover the test since its not a medical necessity. I strongly suggest the over the counter test from walgreens... only other option I know of is an amnio but again I'm not sure insurance would cover

They sell them in Walgreens. I was there today and was surprised. But I think you have to send them off.
