Piercings

Do they make you take your piercings out when you're in the hospital? It's not a huge deal if I have to since I will only be there for 3 days but I'm just curious.

Most hospitals only make you take them out if your getting a c-section. You could always ask your hospital on their policy for that. I never had to take mine out when I had them.

I do not plan on taking mine out, my eyebrow is nowhere near an incision if I end up in surgery.

I had to remove mine from my vag when I had my daughter. But I would ask the doc to see what your hospital requires.

I'm having a c-section. Sounds like they'll make me take everything out, then!

I suppose it varies from hospital to hospital. Ask your doctor what their policy is next time you see him or her. I've only removed mine before surgery.

The only reason you should need to remove any piercings is if you end up in the operating room for any reason.. otherwise it's not an issue.
