Pineapple when it is fresh only has ban enzyme called bromelian. It can cause contractions in high doses. It is okay to eat it in normal sized portions, it's very healthy. I ate it during labor to increase the strength and frequency of my contractions and it worked. Your body can handle it. Don't worry, it can be overwhelming what you can/can't eat but your body knows what it's doing
Pineapple actually helps with morning sickness. It did for me. So nope its not bad.
My doctor told me I can eat whatever I want. He said that normally u hear that u should eat fish or cold lunch meat or whatever else but he said if you dont eat those things every day then really its not bad for you. Thats what my doctor said so thats what I listen to.
It is wic approved. I just bought many cans of pineapples nothing bad happened to me. I've eat several cans of it.
I ate a ridiculous amount of pineapple my first pregnancy. No side effects for me.
