If it's hurting that bad chances are there's an infection, ive been going through the same thing for a week. The Tylenol3 with codeine helps but i went to see my dentist to to get the problem taken care of. And even with a letter from my ob saying it was necessary to do dental work they hardly xrayed me since I'm 39 weeks and basically told me what i already knew i have an abcessed tooth and my wisdom teeth are impacted. Very painful and makes me feel hopeless the point where hurts so bad i just cry cause there's nothing anyone can do. I did get to the point twice now that my husband took me to er and they gave me a novacaine shot in the mouth so i could atleast get a couple hours of sleep but until baby decides he's ready ill be in pain.
That medication is bad you shouldnt take it without your dr approval..it can damage your baby! But u need to go to the dentist (ur ob needs to.get approval note). They have certain anethesia that are safe while ur pregos to fix broken tooth and remove wisdom teeth. My friend got hers removed.while prego. Its better to get it checked out than get an infection
Have you tried dissolving salt in hot water? I had awful toothache last night and it really helped for me. Use a spoon of salt and boiling water from tge kettle, swill it around your mouth as hot as you can stand and just keep doing it until you feel some relief. Obviously don't swallow it. I did it for about hald an hour last night and it really did work x
I'm just honestly at the point where I'm so tired.I want to cry. The right half of my face hurts and it's now 4 am here and I can't sleep.
Something with codeine would be ok to take, I would give the vicodin a miss though x
That would be perfect. I we taking regular Tylenol but it just completely stopped working. I need something to make me drowsy and take the pain away.
I'm 39 weeks and was prescribed Tylenol 3 (with codeine) for my horrific toothache caused by wisdom teeth and abcessed tooth i just called my ob and he was able to call the prescription in it helped but def not strong as vicodin though but makes you sleepy
I'm just so at a loss. I've been told it's better to just take it once on those rare occasions to be able to sleep. I'm in so much pain and I really hate hospitals and want to avoid an ER trip for wisdom teeth and a broken tooth.
NOOOOOO! Talk to your doctor. It's not on the list of approved medications for pregnant women.
