Please Help!!!

Last week Saturday I was diagnosed with a UTI (first UTI ever!) and given antibiotics to clear it up...as of today I am still experiencing cramps in my lower abdomen and I am unsure if its related to the UTI or my growing baby. I am 16 weeks, tomorrow.... Please help!

Drink unsweetened cranberry juice. Sugar feeds infections.

I only drink water and juice and I am hoping it will go away VERY soon. Thank you!

Did they give you macrobid? Drink lots of water and cranberry juice or the crangrape. Blueberries are good too to help with a uti. I hate those things I get them a lot. I can't drink anything but water If I drink anything like a soda or tea ouchy here comes a uti.

Should I wait until my follow up appt on Wednesday or call him up tomorrow? I'm not bleeding and the pain doesn't have me doubled over just causing discomfort...

The first meds ur doctor gave u, probably wasn't strong enough. I went threw the same thing for my first pregnancy n this one as well, the meds I was given didn't clear it all the way. So my doctor had to give me something stronger n it went away n haven't had an uti since. I'm sure everything is okay. Just let ur doctor know that ur still having cramping n stuff:-)
