Positive Home Tests (3), Empty Ultrasound, Bleeding

I went to the Ob yesterday but left with no real answers, I am supposed to go back tomorrow for another blood draw, but still so many things racing in my head. Here is the background -

Sept 17 - first day of my last period. Bled until the Sept 22nd.
Oct. 17th/18th - very very very light pink spotting, just a little bit, only when I wiped
Oct. 21st - 1st Positive Home Pregnancy Test...used clear blue, said Pregnant 1-2    (I had gotten antsy and taken one a few days before this and it was negative)
Oct. 23rd - Took another clear blue - also Positive, same reading 1-2
I set up my OB prescreening and appts for the next week
Oct. 28th - Began to spot a little brown blood.
Oct. 29th - A little more brown blood, turned into bright red. I wiped and it covered the toilet paper.
I called the Dr and they had me come in and they did a vaginal ultrasound - they couldn't find anything, not even a sac.
They took my blood to check my HCG's and sent it down to the lab. I am supposed to go back tomorrow afternoon to see if my levels are rising or not. I am still spotting, some brown, some red.
I took another clear blue last night and it still reads Pregnant, 1-2.

My boobs hurt and I have been nauseated probably 5-6 times in the last 2 weeks. I haven't actually vomitted but been feeling awful enough to go to the bathroom because I felt like it was about to come up. I'm a very busy person and have noticed I have been awfully tired.

Any ideas or suggestions? I've heard chemical pregnancy, miscarriage...just so unsure of what is going on. The doctor said its possible that I caught it SUPER early and it wouldn't show up on an ultrasound yet.

What the dr said is right.  I'm sorry,  but no one on here will be able to give you a real answer because at this point it could really go either way.  It's possible you had an early miscarriage,  but it's also very possible that your pregnancy is just fine.  Follow up with your dr and take it easy for a few days.  Best of luck to you.  I hope you post again in a few days with good news.

It could be really early. If you're not having a lot of red blood or cramps you should be ok. I caight this pregnancy very early and had some spotting too. Usually if its a miscarriage it would take a few days but eventually the test would come back negative because the hormones would decrease. I wish the best for you I've had a miscarriage and its no fun. If it is don't give up hooe just try again :-)
