Positive but got my period!!!

6days before my period is due I took HPT and it was Positive (faint) and I have the early signs of pregnacy like increase in peeing , breast sore, tired , feels like I will throw up and cramping thats why I took HPT but  on my period time I got Spotting then light red  blood on my napkin not like my normal period color usually dark red and have blood clots . I'm confused now and worried if I had chemical pregnacy or implantation. Any one has the same experience and what is the result? Thanks

I spotted and had a few bloodclots in the beginning of my pregnancy. I thought I was having a miscarriage but the doctor said some women spot.

I still had periods up to 12 weeks and my little girl is fine and 29 weeks I'd ring the doctors

I would recommend you take another test and if you still get a positive call to schedule an appointment with your ob to make sure because you can get a false positive or like you mentioned chemical or tubal pregnancy. To me it sounds like implantation bleeding since it was right around the time of your expected period best of luck hope you get the results you wanted

Have you taken another test since you're "period"? It may have been implantation bleeding, though the timing is a little off. I would take another test (or two) to be sure.  Good luck!

I know people from both sides. Where it was a tubal pregnancy, chemical, miscarriage,  and an actual positive pregnancy. Only your doctor will be able to tell what's going on. Good luck!
