Yeh mine is in the front to with my boy I'm 41+2 and the only issue I had at the start was I could feel baby early on but my hubby and my 4 year old couldn't feel baby till a little later plus movement on the outside wasn't as noticeable till later to. I think I was 24 weeks befor hubby and my son could feel him and 26 weeks till you could see him moveing around on the out side.
But it's. It a big deal I was told there is only a issue if it's on the bottom blocking the exit so in that case not a massive deal just they would need a c-section but anywhere front back sides and top are all fine no issues caused from the placenta being there.
I also have an anterior placenta. We think I did with my son too. The only thing it affected for me was not feeling much movement. As long as the placenta isn't covering the cervix, you're good!
Yeah, I have one this go around. Freaked me out when my doc couldn't find the fetal heartbeat at 12 weeks. They brought in the ultrasound and baby was doing flips. Lol... anterior placentas aren't any worse or better than the 'normal' ones. It just means the kicks won't be felt in the front of your belly and it'll take longer to find fetal heartbeats. Oh, and it'll most likely take longer for you to feel the kicks at all
Yes, it's called anterior placenta. It's nothing to worry about. It may muffle baby's movements so you don't feel therm as well until a little later but it's not a problem. I have it this time around.
