Pregnancy Freckles?
I'm somewhere over 50% Irish so freckles are nothing new to me, but lately I've noticed a lot more new, dark freckles and they're all over my body (it's been 30 degrees Fahrenheit here lately, I'm not exposing myself to much sun). Also freckles I've had are bigger and/or darker... is this one of those lovely new pregnancy caused skin changes?
I've also been getting them which is weird seeing how as I've never had freckles before. I don't go in the son often either. I've just brushed it off as another pregnancy gift.
Melasma is more splotchy looking... these are small freckles. All over my body. Not just my face and neck... I guess it's one more thing to ask my Dr.
Yes. They are called melasma. Dont get into the sun for too long and use sunscreen. ♡♡♡
