I just had this too,I made sure to eat by the brat diet ( I ate something every time I got sick so there was something on my belly to come back up), also drink fluids slowly. Water didn't work for me but flat gingerale did wonders.
I didn't go to the doctor or anything cause my baby still kicked the whole day and the vomiting only lasted 24 hours.
I'm much better now and baby's healthy. Just hang in there. If you feel dizzy or have vomiting and bowel movements alot for an extended period of time go to the doctor or hospital yo be checked.
Do your best to stay hydrated. And let it pass. I had it early on too and so did my toddler and hubby. Being nauseous from pregnancy and having to clean up puke was really hard and not fun
The worst usually lasts about 24 hours. Then it may linger a bit for a couple more days. The key is to keep drinking fluids. Just a teaspoon at a time is OK. If you drink a lot it'll just make you throw up again. If you can't drink fluids and you are constantly throwing up and having diarrhea you may need to go get some iv fluids. They can also give you meds to stop the puking. Also for diarrhea, applesauce and bananas help. I feel you I had the stomach flu at thanksgiving and it was aweful.
I had a stomach bug just this past weekend. I hope you feel better. Call your doctor and let them know what you are experiencing.
It is important to have plenty of liquid, but more important that you only sip it or else you will be throwing it all back up. Once you can keep down liquids try to the BRAT diet- (bananas, broth, rice apple sauce, toast and or crackers), jello, sugar free popsicle are also, good to try as well to see if you can keep food down and nourish your body.
I ended up in the hospital because I couldn't keep anything down and after hours went by I realized I was no longer able to urinate and was told to go to the ER.
