Read. Get your information for reputable places. Learn what happens in pregnancy, how it works what your body does and all that stuff it's amazing. Mostly though be flexible. Every pregnancy is different, every baby is different, and every clinic is different. What happened with your friend or what the baby book says may not be how it goes for you, but that’s ok. Unless it's truly a real issue don't stress about it, it will be fine. Also enjoy the rest and peace and quiet now you won't get it again for another 25-30 years. Lastly download a contraction timer app. Super helpful.
Google there r so many websites that give u information including videos week per week. But just keep a healthy diet n exercise so that u don't have an uncomfortable pregnancy due to weight gain. It's not that ur eating for 2. N take ur prenatal pills.
