trouble breathing!

I am 28 weeks 6 days and I just can't breath! I've tried laying on my left side and it doesn't help. Even sitting up it feels like I'm smothering. I want to say 80 percent of my day I'm having issues with this. Between the leg cramps and breathing issues I'm not getting any sleep. Anyone else having problems? What helps?

Yup. You could try standing up while leaning over your kitchen table or counter, that worked for me. I also felt like sitting on a birth ball helped baby get his feet out of my lungs, so if you have one, maybe give that a shot?
I promise it gets better once the baby drops. (Though the trade off seems to be you pee more)

It sounds like you may have anemia.  One of the symptoms is shortness of breath,  and it's pretty common in pregnancy.

At 28 weeks,  your baby shouldn't be pushing so hard on your lungs that you can't breathe.

I have the same problem, my dr said because the tummy is expanding to  below the breast - causing to block my lung/airs to travel.  She said it's normal and that it will get worst.  I'm 30 weeks.

I have been having the same issue for a few weeks now.. My specialist says it's because the baby is pushed up against your lungs and all other organs.. I get so winded just walking 5 feet to my bathroom..

Went through the same. Doctor seem to think it was anxiety and stress. I tried meditation and taking it easy .
