Probiotics

Hi,I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I will like to know if I could take probiotics during my pregnancy?I just want to know if this will be safe.Im planning on breastfeeding but I been having a infection or at least that's what I think.But I heard if a I have a yeast infection or could be thrush the baby could possible get it and I don't want this.Thank you!!!!

Probiotics are excellent for pregnancy and you can take as many as you want, you won't overdose. I'd take them regardless of thrush or not to boost your health.

(For thrush I also mix a capsule of powder into a little Greek yoghurt and apply down there and inside vagina - it worked last time, I did this for 5 days).
If it's not gone or lessened in 3 or 4 days then see your doctor to get stronger medication but continue taking oral probiotics to ensure you don't have a relapse later.

You could have your doctor test you to confirm that it is in fact a yeast infection. They will likely prescribe you something for it.
