my secret to no 'mommy pooch'

If u are worried about getting that pooch after having a baby. Listen close ladies. My Grandma told me this secret before I had my 1st and now im on my 3rd and it works! After u have your baby, (vaginal or c-section) count 8 days exactly from birth and do NOT get up for 24 hrs on the 8th day. (Lay only on you back) only get up to use the bathroom. Its hard to do but soo worth it.

Everyone obviously has a different situation but I was lucky enough to have my hubby help me. I was just sharing my secret.

I never got the pooch and I was up and about constantly after I gave birth. I had to keep myself busy because I work a full time job, so it was very difficult for me to just sit around the house while I was on maternity leave for 8 long weeks LoL! At least I have my little mini me to keep me busy this time around :)

How do you stay in bed all day when you have to get up and take care of the baby? Lol..  I wouldn't be able to do this because my husband leaves for work everyday at 5am and Dont get home until after 6pm.. he hardly ever gets any days off. Plus I'll have to not only take care of my baby but my dog as well..  I live in Arizona and my dog has valley fever so I have to give him his meds twice a day everyday. Sounds like a good idea though but I don't have anyone to take care of my baby and dog for me so I wouldn't be able to do that! Lol.....

It does sound amazing but it'll be too hard with mothers that have more than one child. I have two other small children.

So I take it that you had someone to hand you the baby and all that? I'm just asking because I am curious how it would work.

I nursed mine. Its really not that hard. U can prop yourself up. Just dont sit up completely.  My grandma had 7 kids and she looked amazing

While that does sound tempting, I think it would be very hard to do... Especially for mother's who are nursing. Sounds interesting though.

I'm going to try that, Grandmas are clever :-) Besides it's a good excuse to lay in bed for a day.
